Mr. Kuhl takes over the responsibilities of Mr. Dominik Müser. He will work closely with Mr. Rolf Langkamp, the technical managing director.
Bastian Kuhl, born in 1974, has extensive international management experience in various industries. After completing his military officer training, Mr. Kuhl first studied business administration in the German Armed Forces before being stationed in Afghanistan for three NATO-led missions.
Following his time in the German Armed Forces Mr. Kuhl, who was born in Cuxhaven, worked for several years for the Boston Consulting Group as well as for AlixPartners and was active as a consultant and in the management (interim management) on behalf of various national and international companies. In 2015, Bastian Kuhl took over the management of the "Industrial Automation Power Generation" business unit (power generation) as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Swiss energy and automation technology group ABB. After just over two years, Mr. Kuhl changed to the "Industrial Automation Measurement & Analytics" (measurement and analysis technology) division, also as COO, where he was responsible for the group-wide restructuring and change processes as "Head of Transformation" until the end.
